At the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) in Vienna between March 5th and 8th, Mindray Medical International showcased its latest medical imaging innovations aimed at helping clinicians improve their diagnosis. Mindray exhibited its new-generation TE7 touch screen ultrasound system, its DC-8 Exp color Doppler ultrasound system as well as other ultrasound solutions and radiology imaging systems.

The TE7 was unveiled to a large audience at the Congress on March 5th, marking the official launch of Mindray’s most revolutionary touch screen Doppler system. “Mindray maintains its rapid pace of innovation with delivery of the TE7 high-performance ultrasound system, providing the optimal bedside patient assessment,” said Ms. Sarah Li, General Manager of the Medical Imaging System Business Unit. “Intensive development efforts have resulted in the TE7 offering simplicity, efficiency, and intuitive operation with touch gesture. And with targeted application presets combined with clarity of imaging, the TE7 is the perfect choice for a confident diagnosis in diverse point-of-care scenarios.”

The DC-8 Exp color Doppler ultrasound system was another eye-popping innovation at the exhibition. Based on Mindray’s new generation mQuadro ultrasound platform, the DC-8 Exp brings together a new set of innovative solutions to provide confident diagnosis for patients across all ages and body types. The new single-crystal technology combined with 3T technology provides the best possible scanning solution for difficult patients. Visitors to the Mindray booth were also attracted by the M9 hand-carried ultrasound system that specializes in cardiology, and the DC-70 color Doppler ultrasound system dedicated to obstetrics and gynecology practice.

Another exhibit was the DigiEye 760 digital radiography system whose flexible configuration and versatile clinical application makes it ideal for physically restricted patients. Mindray's MagSense 360 magnetic resonance imaging system could also be seen at the booth. Its dual-mode scanning is a breakthrough in open MRI.

ECR is one of the largest and most innovative events in the global radiology society, attracting more than 20,000 participants from around 100 countries and 4,000 scientific papers and exhibits every year. As a leading manufacturer, developer and marketer of medical devices worldwide, Mindray attaches great importance to such academic and professional interaction with users and actively participates in each year’s ECR. Mindray believes that a comprehensive understanding of localized user needs is critical in providing the world with valuable innovations and cutting-edge medical technologies.
